orn in 1975 in Naples, Italy, Michele began to study classical guitar at the age of 7. He discovered flamenco at the age of 10, when his father gave him an album by Paco de Lucia. Influenced by flamenco and all kinds of popular and jazz music, he grew up listening and playing his own compositions, creating a unique and recognizable style that has been highly praised by reviewers and listeners. He continued studying as a soundtrack composer, and he moved to Seville in 2000. Here he began working in tablaos:
Las Brujas, Los Gallos, El Arenal, El Palacio Andalus. He has worked with: Chano Lobato, El Lebrijano, Pedro Sierra, Javier Baron, Isabel Bayon, Pastora Galvan, Tino di Geraldo, Tomasito, La Tobala, Angeles Gabaldon, Diana Navarro, El Junco, Ballet Flamenco de Andalucia, Ian Akkerman, Pasion Vega, and Manuel Lombo. He has played at festivals including: Festivales de Ciutat Vella, Festival de Alburquerque, Dusseldorf, Mont de Marsan, Bienal de Sevilla, Festival de Jerez, Bienal de Malaga. He composed music for Romancero Gitano represented in a European tour. He has recorded 3 CDs as a soloist : Agua de Monte (2000), Tiempo presente (2008), and Definitivamente (2015). He works as a guitarist and arranger, in addition to producing many types of music. Some of his productions include: Tierra de Barro, Nikelao, Azul, Chorrito Bajo, El Écijano, and Manuel de Paula (see home page). The third solo album Definitivamente is a trip from jazz to flamenco, or his own style of music, where the inspiration is clear: taste, imagination and strength. These elements travel through mature composition, resulting in a new perspective on the flamenco guitar.
